Fresh Juice

This Term our class had an opportuniuty of making cups of fresh juice made by a canadian fruit juicer. The juicer is from the Champion brand. Mr Barks brought the juicer with him from Canada. It was fun making juice that is Better and Faster which is part of our topic for this term.

Science

It was a sunny afternoon when we walked down to Tamaki College for a roadshow, when we arrived at TC there was another school that was learning about science. At the time that they were learning room 21, 19 and 18 sat down and was ready to learn, the topic we were learning about was Hot and Cold. Then the instructors told us that we could explore around and touch things, they also said that there is a set of cards that you ha to answer and can get a small prize. My eyes was really surprise of what has been made by such has been made by such clever people and how they made it. After all the drama we had to sit back down on the chairs to learn about another topic about our bodies and what we do with them, we learned so much after we went to school we talked about it and wrote about it to.

Meter Swim

For the last few days, we Room 18 has been swimming at the Y.M.C.A pools we have practicing how to swim METERS! if we were in a situation of drowning we would have to swim and that’s why we are swimming meters far. I have practise allot and I have improved, for the first time I swam 2 and a half meters but now I have swam 20m, my goal was I trying to beat my highest meter swim and I could not. Some people like Tyla and Kingston had the highest meter swim ever. My goal that I was trying to reach was beating my meter swim. After swimming we will have a 5 minute change and if you came out early you get bonus points for being good. Everybody in the class was really exhausted of swimming and had to run to school if we didn't keep with the group Mr Barks will make us run and do push ups and that will be difficult after swimming.

Tamaki College

For the last few weeks, team 4 had an opportunity to go to Tamaki college and do fun activities with the year 12 students, we were really excited and shocked, I thinked to myself why us and not the older kids. When we arrived at Tamaki College we got split into groups, a few of my group members were getting entertained by our leaders with the game bull rush,touch, across the ocean, over the fence and human chain the most favourite one I liked the most was Human Chain I liked it because it was fun and interesting. At the end of the day we always get treats well actually not always only sometimes but still I had a great time. While we were playing bull rush two girls slipped on the muddy grass and was not hurt but was crying we were laughing but it wasn't really that funny after a while they started to laugh about it. After a few weeks it was the last day of fitness we had so much fun and was really sad in a happy way we said our goodbyes in the end of the session and said our thanks, I was really hoping that we could see each other in the future I wondered.

T2W1 The Mysterious Theme

Waking up to a rainy and windy morning was not a good time, I thinked to myself “What is the theme going to be for this term”! So I got change and waited until it was 8:00, TICK! Its 8:00 I ran to the van filled with joy, seeing all my friends and teachers were such an exclusive excitement. Knowing that it was Oshania's Birthday I had no gift to give her but a big cuddle. I hopped out of the van and ran to my class, I was exhausted and then I looked around and saw many kids were really happy to be back from there adventures holidays.

Netball

This is Miss Tito's Netball Team, I am on the bottom next to Vivienne. This is when we finished our game challenging Holly Cross. I love playing netball it is my sports. My favourite netball player for Silver Fern's is Maria Tutaia. I love Miss Tito she is the best coach ever and Mrs Nua. Thank you for reading.

My Best Friends

This year I've made new friends with Jasmine and Chanel there like my sisters they are awesome and kind, they stand by me everyday. They are my family and my faith and I will share with them courage them and I will do anything for them and that's what Best buddies do. I enjoy playing with them and sharing secrets its allot of fun.
